Reasons for not voting
Many members are busy living their lives. Some are tired of the HOA politics. Others just don't care.
Consequences
The consequences of not participating are/can be dyer. Property values come from the location, amenities, and condition of a community and each building. Our community is in serious decline; dying trees/landscaping, mismanagement of the common grounds/pools, roads are not maintained, and the water supply system is failing.
Failure to act
By not participating in elections and attending meetings, you are forfeiting your right to sustained values for your home and family legacy. Not to mention disrupted water service and/or falling trees.

Yes, that right. Stay secluded in your home with the windows and doors locked. Don't attend meetings or vote. The result will be yours to own. Fair warning.
